What kind of cost should I be expecting to get 2 bathroom countertops replaced which are each 5 1/2 ft wide by 2 feet deep. Currently have that 80s style cultured marble counter top id like to get replaced with granite. Do the counter top places install? What should I expect for a all in price on the counter tops with install? BR area

Depends on what you want to replace it with…

You may need new sinks and faucets too. So expect additional costs.
I usually have the company install undermount sinks which they provide.

Yes we will need new sinks since the current ones are formed into the current countertop

In total I would expect well north of $1000 each. Finished granite isn't cheap at any level, new faucets and sinks will run $400 to $600 for both bathrooms with typical box store stuff if you go that route and more than double that for higher-end fixtures. I just remodeled a 72" vanity with a butcher block top, new top mount sink, faucet, drain, new PEX-A plumbing, valves and tiled backsplash and I was well under $500. I did all my own work though...

We replaced our cultured marble vanities with granite two years ago, and went with First In Counters in Zachary. The counters with undermount sinks included ran about $1200 installed. They were about the same dimensions you note. We bought the faucets separately (about $500) and my husband installed the faucets and did all the plumbing work. Could not be more pleased with the result and they worked really fast.
