Carpet Cleaner For Pet Urine

We have carpets in our bedrooms and our older dog has urinated in several spots that have dried. I got a black light off amazon and want to do some work this weekend on trying to get the urine out. Should I just use something like Natures Miracle or also use a shampooer? Anyone had luck getting the smell out of the carpet?

I bought the above at WalMart online, pretty sure it’s not in store
It’s good to get smell out until you can use a carpet cleaner
I use a solution with Oxi Clean in my carpet cleaner
Try putting down pee pads if the dog is going in the same spots

Just be very thankful it wasn’t cat urine. It crystallizes and that shut is forever.

1. Spray with white vinegar and water, let it soak, dab it up.
2. Rent a carpet cleaner from Home Depot and put the resolve pet stuff in it.
3. Run it again with a very diluted solution with Angry Orange in it.
4. Lay towels on area and put something heavy on top in areas where pee was.

Hoover Shampooer
We have one of these that works well.
The price has gone up a lot since Corona. We paid about $160 online last year and it works well for pets.
I just keep solution in the tank, top it up with hot water as needed and make sure the waste tank is clean.

I've used Zep to great success. Cleans out urine, vomit, and blood extremely well. Used it on rugs, bedding, furniture, and carpet.
That said I usually get to it pretty quick.

Gets it every single time.
Only thing I have noticed is you need to dab with a wet cloth after you're done cleaning up. We had the carpet in our last house steam cleaned and every spot we had used this on came out lighter than the others.

Woolite Carpet Pet Stain & Odor + Oxy Spray
We've had lots of aging pets over the years, this stuff is by far the best thing we've used, not counting cleaners used in cleaning machines.
