I was wanting a regular type but wife wants a “smokeless”. Was looking at the Breeo Luxeve. Pricey but look pretty nice. Anyone have one? Thoughts?

I have one. Not the luxeve. The 30 inch regular cortan one. My buddy has a solo stove. Solo stove gets smokeless faster. Breeo puts out more heat and wider radius once it gets going. I use it instead of my built in fire pit. Getting in bed without having to take a shower is nice.

I ordered one in early October and it has yet to arrive because… FedEx.
So, just a heads up on that in case your area is having issues with FedEx.

I’ve been eyeballing the 24” regular one. Wife thinks the breeo ones look better than the solo stove ones. Glad to hear that Breeo puts off more heat compared to solo stove.

I have been looking also to put inside a brick enclosure. I have about 700 bricks left over from my house. Would these work?

I looked at Breeeo but ended up ordering the solo stove just because you can't put the breeo on a deck. Would have to put pavers down first for heat protection and that hurt the portability as I don't want to leave it out.

do you think it would be safe to have one of these under a covered patio. It isn't an enclosed patio. I'd say the ceiling was probably 10 feet tall.

Just don't want to get too hot and melt anything.

If not I could definitely still see myself getting one of these for the uncovered part of the patio

I have a solo stove and it generates a ton of heat out the top. Not sure I would want anything overhead. These smokeless pits seem to not generate heat outward and concentrate more upward.

Yea as they said the heat going upwards from the opening is intense. I wouldn't have anything above it. I love the solostove bonfire I have though. At 20 pounds its easy to put away. Puts out enough heat on the sides, but it's true most goes straight up.

Just used my for the first time this past weekend and was hoping to get more warmth, but I also think my firewood was too long. I noticed once I started knocking pieces in half the smoke got better. Any tips you have discovered?

Yeah the wood needs to stay inside the solo stove. Not above the rim. Check out their website videos to learn about how the stove works. It’s informative. I like mine, however I do with the clean up from a backyard night fire that hasn’t burned out was easier to clean up.

I’ve got a few questions for those of you who have them:

-typically when stainless gets really hot, it becomes golden in hue. That happening on any of your pits?
-a little disappointed to see 304 vs 316 at this price point. I think 304 may have a higher melting point and that’s the rationale, otherwise 316 is superior in virtually every way. Any of you baws with saltwater pools have yours a while? Any issues at all relative to corrosion?
-Is the $1700 really worth the price of admission? It looks well made, but that’s pretty damn steep for a fire pit.

TIA

We have an x24, it's awesome. Once the fire gets rolling it's truly smokeless. I have mine sitting on an amistad stand. I saw the solo stove but the Breeo is US made so that so I decided to go with the Breeo. This thing is like a torch when you keep feeding it wood.

Bump for an old thread.
What are you guys using on the concrete to set the Breeo on?
I'll be putting mine on concrete deck and was going to put pavers underneath but is that going to insulate the concrete enough and I'm concerned about discoloring under the paver?

FYI, I ordered my Breeo from their website last week and it came in yesterday. It took 7 days. On their website they say it could be 1-2 weeks before it ships. I was shocked Fedex pulled in the driveway yesterday.

I have pavers underneath. No problems.

I have an X30, my buddy has a 24" solo stove and the knock off from Sam's.

Breeo gets hottest but takes a while to get smokeless. I think the larger diameter contributes to this.

Solo stove gets smokless the fastest but the heat goes straight up.

Sam's club is actually a great combo of the two especially for the price. I might actually get another so if I am doing small gatherings can just use that.

Thanks Boss. Pavers is what I was thinking about. There is company called Deck Protect that has a basalt (volcanic fiber) tiles in a metal frame, and it has hard rubber feet to allow air flow underneath. But it is $200 and has a month lead time.
I might just do the pavers for awhile. I was concerned about discoloring under pavers on my new concrete.

I just ordered the 24" Breeo. Plan to put it on top of a wood deck. Anyone have suggestions on what to put it on? I was thinking of getting a scrap piece of granite from one of the countertop companies. Any other suggestions?
