Bolts stuck on Weber grill.

Trying to replace burners on spirit 310. Damn bolts holding burners inside the grill or either rusted or warped. Can get the 8mm socket on them but it slips around one and won't budge the other two. Have never replaced them or taken them out before.

Using a ratchet or drill?

Not much you can do really, heat + PB or Kroil but chances are they will just crumble anyway. If they are already that bad you are better off cutting them off and getting replacement stainless hardware.

Safety glasses are a must (safety squints won't suffice).

Don't know the condition of yours, but I was able to cut mine with bolt cutters/ large wire cutters.

What I had to do on that same pit is break them off. You really don’t need them. The fork at the end of the tube will sit in that slot just fine

Any advice on how to do that without breaking something?

Take a pair of pliers and grab the head of it and start twisting. It should break off. As long as the head of the screw is not on the tubes will work just fine
