Any recommendations for service around the BR area?

Also looking at doing it myself with a machine rental but haven’t done it before. Just need to add more.

Last year I had that T-A-P cellulose blown into my attic and it made an immediate difference in the comfort in the home. We used Rader's Insulation, which I understand also operates in Baton Rouge. No nonsense great job.

If you think you can do it yourself, you can. Very simple. Home Depot or Lowe’s will give you free use of the machine if you buy the insulation from them. It used to be a 15 bag minimum, not sure about now. Haven’t done one in 2-3 years.
It is a 2 person job so get a buddy to keep the hopper filled for you. Doesn’t take long at all and you can save yourself a pile of money.
Ideal DIY project.

And so the hose doesn’t come disconnected and blow insulation all over your driveway.

Don’t ask

Ouch. Oh well, it could have been worse. It could have been inside.

You just need 2 people to do it yourself, one to feed the hopper and one to shoot it in the attic.

If you can get a 3rd person, it would help feeding the hose into the attic as you go to the far end of it and pulling the hose back out as you get back to your access point.

The hell with that this time of year. Attics can be in the 120 or more range in the summer months.
