Anyone have luck getting fruit from a tree growing in a pot?

These occasional deep freezes are giving my citrus trees a hard time and they are too big to cover up. The freezes set them back where they don’t produce the next year. I was thinking by having them in a pot, I could move them inside during freezes.

I have young meyer lemon & lime, and a La satsuma in large ceramic pots. They've all produced fruit in the last year.
HATE moving them in the garage for freezes, but worth the effort.

Got fruit from a lime tree that's in a pot and on wheels. Nice to be able to move it inside when the temps require it.

Ive got 2 key limes in pots. They produce a lot of fruit and I can move them inside on a dolly. I have them in huge pots though.

I have a Meyer lemon in a pot. I just bring it inside of the house before the first freeze every year. It stayed small because it is in the pot and looks nice in the living room. I just picked this year’s lemon crop last week.
