I just had a roof replaced by Cloteaux Construction on Monday. I would recommend them. My salesman is Ian. Best of luck in whoever you choose!

Matt Couvillon... runs a great show and seems to be an all around good person, not sure if they do standing seam metal roofs or if they go to North Louisiana, but would be worth a call

In ladayette area i cannot speak highly enough about Jim Olivier Home improvement. They are certified installers of owings corning, atlas, certintede and GAF. Best part is they are so safe, efficient, good and customer oriented. Have master carpenter on hand to do any decking repairs.

Also expensive as frick with all their pointless add-ons.
Aren't they the ones that give you a fricking trip of some sort with the roof?! I'm hiring you to put a roof on my house, not as my frickin travel agent.
Lafayette Roofing did our roof 2 years ago, and I was really impressed with them. Best price out of the 3 or 4 we received quotes from, and the service was phenomenal. The crew showed up at 6 AM and was done by about 2 on a 2400 sqft house, and they didn't leave nails all over the yard. Found a few buried in the shrubs, but that was it.
JO was nearly double what LR was, if I remember correctly. Think JO quoted $25k and LR was around $14k

You should probably call Hargrove Roofing if you are in the Shreveport area.

Hargrove out of Lafayette is who I called and a guy named Robert Wood is helping me. My interactions with him have been great. He has even called my adjuster and had conversations with him. I am now looking into other options vs standing seam. A product I am really impressed with is the faux slate from companies like Davinci and Brava. You get the look of slate without the weight and a more durable product when it comes to hail.
Davinci
Brava

I've quoted DaVinci before. It's crazy expensive. We recently put on a product called Decra. It's metal panels that have the looks of shingles.

Is that basically a lifetime product? Also, what was the cost you got quoted for Davinci? I did a little research and saw where a square cost was around 500 per square. I was thinking about 50k materials cost and whatever labor would be.

I believe that’s about where I quoted the job. Around $500 a square
