Anyone got a decent moving company rec in BR?

Looking for reliable on time movers in BR. I’ve dealt with a few and have left mostly unsatisfied. Trying to let the pros handle vs my yard guy like last time.

We used Two Men and a Truck several years ago when we moved and had no complaints.

Angell Movers were excellent. Fully insured with experienced, hard working employees. Very reasonably priced.

Abba Movers. Nick is a great guy to work with. I've used them 3 times in the past 5 years and my daughter used them last weekend. 225-384-6683

From my recent experience do NOT use Geaux Movers (BR based). Absolutely terrible.
Northshore Movers (out of Hammond) were excellent. Can't recommend enough.
Won't go into detail on the awfulness of the first. Had to find someone else and NS stepped in last minute and hit it out of the park.

My wife used ABBA when she moved in with me. They were great.

Based on recommendations from TD, I have used ABBA twice – would use the again in a heartbeat – have also referred them to numerous friends and they have all been satisfied as well.

Look into this company LINK / out of Baton Rouge . I've had them handle my last couple moves and they were on the cheaper side but still reliable/professional. I've had my share of bad experiences with movers too (though never hired my yard guy for help) and they're a company I'd certainly use again.
