Any suggestions to eliminate dust in a house?

And skip the.... "have your wife clean more". No, I'm spending money on a house keeper either.
Buy seriously, what are some areas that can be addressed to help. Some things I'll be doing is replacing the old can lights with some tighter fitting to the ceiling LED light, adding foam strips to the bottom of the windows for a tight seal and doors.

Do you have hard flooring? Pets? How often do you change out furnace filters? One of the best things you can do is actually vacuum at least weekly and don't rely on some dumb robot crumb sucker. I have a commercial-grade hard surface vacuum for the LVL and ceramic tile flooring that makes up most of the house, a Kirby for the 4 rooms that still have carpet. We have pets, no kids, and it's impressive how much the vacuums collect, especially the hard surface one. Both have HEPA rated filtration.

I had this problem years ago and it turned out to be central air/heat ductwork leaking in my attic.

This is the answer.

Unless you want to move out of the house not much you can do. I say this bc dust is primarily dead skin cells from your body.

How did you determine this? We have a similar issue but have never had a house without carpet until we ripped all of it out so wasn’t sure if that was the issue. Sweep very often but the dust bunnies seem to multiply at night.

I usually dust mop the main part of house daily but have three small dogs and one sheds. I recently dust mopped the floor and immediately vacuumed using our rainbow and it was disgusting what I still picked up. I now vacuum once per week and dust mop daily. Been a game changer!
Edit to add I live with the wife and two daughters and there is hair at all times.

It was suprisingly simple to figure out once I thought about it for six months! Short story is, you crack a window or door with your central AC unit off. If there is no wind, there should not be a bunch of air flowing in or out. Then turn your central AC unit on and check the crack in the door again. If there is air coming in through the crack, you need to reseal your ductwork.
When this happens, the ac system is sucking outside air into your house causing dust and high utility bills.
