I’ve looked at the wooden and PVC ones at the hardware stores but they don’t seal at all.

I can install a sweep, but not sure if I could seal off the rest without it looking ridiculous.

EDIT: When the main door is open

I don't think any type of door will keep them out if it's open. Maybe an air curtain

I just installed 3 wooden screen doors at a customer's house and all of them sealed perfectly.

Maybe you don't know how to install them.

Against what? Using what? What brand?

Framed or hinged?

You’ve added nothing to the thread.

Those are the answers that you should provide if you need answers from us.

Tell us how/where you will install these and we can help. Otherwise, you are left with no screen doors.

Approx 10 psi indoor pressure should about to it. Don't know about small birds tho.

Do you mean like a magnetic screen door? Where you walk through at it connects itself back together.

No, I planned on installing something like this with a spring hinge before I realized that it doesn’t seal against anything, so snakes, lizards and bugs could come in while I have the main door open.

It’s made to fit inside ext brick mold. It’ should fit against door frame. If there’s no stops available simply add a wide enough stop to accept a good seal on 3 sides. Sweep at bottom as needed. Good luck

With a wooden frame, screen door, you also might need to install a turnbuckle across the bottom half of the door either initially or later to fix any door sagging issues.

I would just get a storm door….many of them have pretty extensive screening when you retract the glass.

I'm sorry this thread just makes me laugh. everyone here has seen the guy at Lowe's with some new tools and some pieces of materials and then you look at them and you go. you're about to f*** this up. so there is this thread about a guy who does not know how to put a screen door on and realize that they go on the outside of the door frame. and then he's a little bit pissed because he doesn't know what the f*** he's doing. he's probably a neuro surgeon, but doesn't know how to put on a f****** screen door.
