Looking at moving to battery powered lawn equipment and wondering if any of y’all have come across any good Black Friday deals?
Or, alternatively, any good review resources?

1) small yard 2) kids toys taking over small shed 3) don’t want garage smelling like gas 4) don’t want to breath gas fumes in everytime I go through garage 5) easier to store in garage
Thanks for the super helpful post.

There was a thread on here not long ago and the overwhelming recommendation was for EGO. I do not own any battery powered tools except a 60V dewalt blower. I like it, wife loves it but the battery life is about 15 min and I’ve replaced 2 batteries in 2 years. They were covered by the warranty though.

Walmart had their Hart brand on clearance a month or so ago. I’ve never used that one but I believe it had good reviews. Some stores may have some still. I bought a Snapper 60V from them a few years ago and haven’t had any issues with it. The only problem I have now is that we went from about 1/10 of an acre to 1/3 so it takes 2 batteries to cut everything.

I have an 80v green works weedeater and I love it. I have a huge yard and works well. Greenworks has other products. I would recommend getting the biggest battery avail. GL

Home Depot has lots of combo deals on Ryobi lawn equipment. I picked up blower/weed eater combo kit with battery for $88 usually $120.

I haven’t seen any deals but I recently converted everything except the mower to Ego. It’s been fantastic, highly recommend.

Sounds like you have a bad gas tank. I never smell fumes when I walk into my garage

I use all Ryobi lawn equipment. Love them. No issues. Battery powered. Only gas motors I have are the lawn mower and generator.
