What area of Custer did you stay in? We’re headed up there this summer, trying to pick a cabin for a couple of nights.

That plan would absolutely never work.

I’ve been using the crossbreed mini tuck for about 8 years for my shield. Zero complaints.

We rented a cabin on Caddo River for the weekend of camp drop off. Check Airbnb/VRBO. Hot Springs is neat for about an afternoon.

Still don’t understand what the strategy is here. I’m just about over the Conte experience.

re: Benching with mild pectus excavatum

I did have the Nuss procedure. I still have the titanium bar in my closet that was in my chest for two years. Before that, they tried the Ravitch procedure. The Nuss provided much better results, where I was able to run and play sports for longer and at a better level. I was also able to generally breathe better which was the most important!
My chest still looks fairly funky but after spending 5 summers as a lifeguard wearing no shirt, I got over how it looks.

I have it as well, multiple surgeries when I was young, etc etc. I still get winded quicker than I should and it does take longer for me to build up endurance. Funny you ask about bench, it’s always been a long road for me to see progress there. Doctors always told me lifting was very good for my chest but just take it slow.
Other than that, it never held me back much, high school basketball and soccer weren’t too bad. Currently I’m exercising/lifting 4 days a week.

re: Driskill Mountain: Worth a drive?

Depends on how far you’re driving. It’s about a 45 minute walk through the woods, round trip. It’s nice, but it can be muddy. Wear some orange. It’s better than Florida’s high point, so there’s that.

It’s always a slog against Wolves especially when Sonny is the playing like the worst player on the pitch. We’re picking up points that we didn’t get last year, Son and Kane will get going, and it’s going to be very fun to watch
re: Anyone use Carmax or Autotrader to sell a used car?
Posted by fredrod8545 on 6/7/22 at 8:57 pm to shutterspeed
I’ve sold two to Carmax. Both times they came in higher than any of the online shops or local dealerships. Didn’t want to deal with the crazies selling to a private party. Carmax was extremely easy.

Lawn Aeration
Posted by fredrod8545 on 3/5/22 at 1:07 pm
I’ve noticed in the backyard where the kids play the most, the soil has become compacted and the grass isn’t doing as well. I’m looking into aerating some sections. Any tips or tools that work the best? St. Augustine grass.
