Give it time. It can take 2-3 weeks before you notice any change of it dying out.

Call Grassmasters. Not sure if he's still doing residential work or not.

I've got bermuda weed.

I'd like to aerate and overseed this year.

Should I aerate now, and then overseed late april? Or hold off on aeration just before overseeding?

Don't aerate under the grass is actively growing. Aeration initially stresses the turf, so you dont want to do that whilst it is trying to green up, and catching these random frosts like we are having. It's usually late May before I begin (core) aerating.

I stopped by Cleggs this week to pick up some things for my weed ridden lawn. They recommended 3 different chemicals that they provided a mixture recipe for. I know one is Atrazine , and one is 2-4D... I can't remember what the other is. Plan is to cut the grass today, and sometime early next week spray if the weather cooperates.

Hard to tell, but that looks like a centipede lawn..if so, do not spray it with MSMA

What i need to do isnt probably technically ‘overseeding’ since there are some patchy spots....i’m giving this thing one more year before I pave it all

Does anyone else who has St. Augustine drop the deck on the mower an inch or so for the first cut of the year to try and stimulate growth?

Grass isn’t growing yet. Got decimated by webworms last year. When should I put out bifen and fertilizer?

I hear ya, been there for sure. Did you pre-emerge in the fall? What type grass?

Spot treat winter broadleaves for now. Give the turf time to come out of dormancy and begin to recover. We are still a little ways out from fertilizing.

I’ve currently got atrazine, sethox, and just picked up a discount 3 way killer that includes 2-4D. Will this combo take out pretty much any weeds I have in my centipede? I sprayed a combo of atrazine and sethoxydim couple weeks ago on just about every weed I could find

Yeah, that will cover most of your broadleaves, and grassy weeds. May need some basagran later for sedges.

I preemerge every fall and spring. My lawn is an island by itself amongst weeds in yards all around me.

When should I hit it with bifen to fend off this years webworms?

Just keep an eye out when we start to warm up. It's cheap enough to start spraying at the first sign of the little devils.

I got them with Talstar last year and it didn’t appear to phase them. Should I have sprayed at night?

That should've taken them out pretty easily. Maybe double check your application rate?
