Is glyphosate the only solution to kill a dallisgrass infestation in centipede?

This will be my first spring in my new house. Centipede sod was laid late last fall. I’m hesitant to do a whole lot. Anything I should or shouldn’t do because of it being a newer lawn?

Spread some milorganite when the grass wakes back up. This is the best fertilizer i've ever used, and it won't burn you turf.

Perfect match. Most people overdo centipede. Milorganite or Holganix fertilizer, and a little spot spraying should be all ya need.

This weather is pissing me off. I already put down pre-e in granular form as soon as soil temps in 55° for the 5 day average. But now I'm trying to spray the left over winter weeds and I cant because everytime it gets warm enough it's either raining within 24 hrs or its windy as frick.

Boot I got a soil sample back on my centipede lawn and it's crap. It's really low P and K and less than a 1 on organic matter. Thinking of trying some Holganix or some sort of organic fertilizer this year. What's your thoughts?

My wife and I are going to Home Depot this weekend to get items for elevated garden beds.

Will do a lot of herbs, peppers, and tomatoes.

Buy some hi yield grass killer and spray your dallis grass.
Then 7 days later use Celsius

It will die and not come back

Hi yield grass killer is safe for centipede, will kill Bermuda.

Would also try it on torpedo

And wait until after Easter to fertilize.
Don't promote leaf growth when your grass should be using all energy on root growth during March and April

Looks like dirt with a splash of poa annua.

Atrazine and then wait to overseed when temps are consistently in the 70s.

I like to overthink my centipede lawn..

I just laid down Scotts Halts about two days ago.

I've had some winter weeds in the back that look like some type of clover or dollarweed. It's like a full circle with a little pie slice taken out. Just got some atrazine that I am going to hit it with. Then I'm going to hit a bunch of the grassy weeds with sethox. Any other tips? Atrazine will take out clovers and dollarweed, yes?

Might mix the two solutions together and just hit every weed I've got.

No idea with Centipede, but MSMA is what I’ve used to get rid of Dallisgrass and it works better than anything else out there. You do have to be careful with it though.
