It's noble for someone to stand up against the powers and the majority for a cause she believes in. While OweO may not be considered a quality cause by some here, and base that largely on his needy personality and the fact that he started a rival website, I think it's all the more reason we should communicate with him. People such as he are here for a reason, and so are we. Speaking from the mind of a troll, all a troll wants is attention. Many of the methods he uses to get attention are things he hates about himself. For instance, if he continually responds to himself, I suggest he is saying he hates that no one will respond to him in real life, so he punishes himself by talking to himself. If he condemns eating soy sauce and wasabi together, he hates that he has a past where he committed that grave sin.

While I admit I do not know OweO's entire posting history, one thing that is repeated in the criticism against him is that he created a rival website. We all know the only reason he did this was because he was banned here and desired communication with people. His primary desire in this life is for communication and communion with other people. And as such, how is he so different from the rest of us? He clearly, despite what claims are made about his family, does not receive adequate attention from them, so he turns to us. We are his family.

Like the prodigal son who does so much that would give his family reason to turn their backs on him, so does OweO do to us. But have we learned nothing from Jesus when he tells us how great is the happiness of those who reconcile and welcome home the child who has gone astray. Living with and loving those closest to us is never easy; for some it may seem impossible; for many in this generation, giving up is seen as a reasonable option, explaining why there is so much divorce in our midst. But I say, together, we can do this. Together, we can welcome back OweO and live in an uncomfortable yet satisfying communion of brothers and sisters, which is what this life is all about.
