Why do people want to continuously want to further segregate OT topics into other boards? Eventually the OT will be the WYHI board.

Because of the volume of threads on the ot. If you start a fitness related thread it quickly gets pushed to the secon page and it doesn't get seen and responded to.

I like the idea of a tech board, but I already find it frustrating to go through all of the individual boards I like to look at and try and keep up. It would be nice if we had personalized boards where we could subscribe to the boards we like, like reddit. But not like reddit at all, mainly because it is a merit based board (up voting and down voting) and TD is a time based board (new posts bring thread to the top, new posts are put at the end of the thread). Maybe something where you can subscribe to individual threads for your personalized feed and have a panel of NEW threads that shows you all the new threads of the boards you subscribe to?

I'm pretty new and came here to ask about a "Tech/Science" board.
