I think the new layout looks good. it's a lot cleaner.

I like the darker and more clean look. The purple and gold and bright colors looks kinda childish sometimes.
I would make the column on the left with the board topics a little skinnier though

I'm probably wrong, but these changes probably help with site performance since it's not loading all the extra lines and links.

It seems like the font for the thread titles is larger and blurry. Not as sharp. Makes me feel like I need glasses and zoom out

Also, looks like the Olympic board has the new look (sidebar looks the same) but still has the underlined thread titles.
