A suggestion for the making-betterment of the RA feature

I am assuming that whenever an RA is cast, the admins get some sort of email/notification/bat signal that lets them know their presence is needed. Are the basic 6-7 categories of RA-ing really enough info for you or do you need to usually read some for a bit of context?

This brings me to my point. There should be an "other:________________________" (fill in the blank) box in the RA screen that lets someone describe the problem, in short detail, to the admin. Instead of 25x "germans" posts, someone could RA and type germans int he box. Instead of creating a "Alter check" thread on the help board, they could RA and suggest a secret alter check. These are a couple examples, but there are many reasons to RA that don’t necessarily fit into the default choices.

Now, i know what you are thinking "but displaced, what is to stop every poster from PMing the admins using the RA/Other feature?"

to which i say NOTHING! it could be a very useful way to get you attention since you guys never seem to check your email. They can PM you and you can PM them right back using the Admin PM. Naturally, there will be those who abuse it, and they will need to be dealt with in a stern manner. I am only making a suggestion here and am curious to know what you guys think. I’m just trying to help with the constant improvement of the site.
