Just learn how to connect to them and Maintain good form and then you can just do the usual exercises like crunches. Vary your tempo. Ab wheels are good too

Are you actually trying to strengthen your core or you just want a six pack?

Six pack can basically be done with cardio and diet

Plenty of lifts to strengthen your core with out working out abs

Like deadlifts

Some people say doing abs all the time without doing back exercises will lead to muscle imbalances causing people to have poor posture.

A lot of people who lift don't even do isolated ab workouts and get super strong abs by bracing for other lifts like squat, deadlift, overhead press, and chinups. Suitcase carries are supposedly awesome for building up your core as well.

As for whether your abs are visible that will be determined by your body fat percentage.

Decline sit-ups
Crunches
Chair leg lifts
Ab wheel
Jack-knifes with a plate or medicine ball

Do any two of those to failure for four sets every 48 hours
Eat right
Run, jog, or ride a bike

Enjoy your abs

I throw in 3 sets of core work after every workout.

I probably get enough stimulus from BB compounds but a little extra never hurts.

I just alternate one of these 3

Hanging leg raise: 3xAMRAP
Machine Crunch: 3x15
Russian twist: 3x25 superset ab wheel 3x10

Pro tip: Hanging leg raises are nice after heavy deadlift or squat days to decompress the spine and get a lower back stretch

Deadbugs and variations (also great for prep before squats/deads as you prime the trunk)

Loaded carries

All you need.

I come from a track background, everyone had abs. Some it due to body type and low bf, but sprints and jumps combined with deads and squats will do wonders. Sometimes ab exercises were part of warm-up/stretching, but they were rarely included in lifting sessions.

Will add, medicine ball exercises and weighted throws and carries. The throwers all had super strong cores and many had visible abs regardless of bodyweight. Shot and other throws are all about core strength.
