Kind of a follow up to another thread. What equipment and basics would be good to build muscle at home. Any good YouTube or video series to watch?

Weighted vest(adjustable up to 80lbs), pull up bar, set of gymnastic rings to start. Then bands, 50 lbs strongman sandbag then 100 lbs, then kettlebells in 26, 36, 53.

Allows you to do pushups, pullups and rows of all kinds of variations. Allows you to do presses with the sandbags or kettlebells for upper body. Do curls and triceps extensions on the rings. Shoulders on the rings, dips on the rings. Pretty much unlimited upper body work.

Allows you to do all variations of lunges, squats, calf raises, tie raises etc for lower body work.

I mean all calisthenics, plenty of weighted work with the bands, kbs and sandbags. Sky is the limit.

I thought about building a home gym but decided that I didnt want to spend the money. I did buy a Concept2 rowing machine. Doesnt take up much space and is incredibly effective at all-around fitness....once you learn the technique

Adjustable bench, weights, and a barbell. You build as much strength as you want.

Also, Amazon and Facebook Marketplace are great to not break the bank.
