Trying to hit 3,000-3,500 calories a day and fast food is way too appealing.

So anything not fast food?

I'd say any food that is high in calories that lacks refined sugars is good for you.

Carb and protein shakes if you just need extra calories.

For each macronutrient:

Carbs:

White rice. Easy to digest and does not add satiation.

Fats:

Beef.
Macadamia nuts. Good for HDL and testosterone.

Protein:

Frankly, this is where protein shakes come in handy. They add protein without filling you up.

It does not get much more calorie dense than peanut butter.

I eat as much peanut butter as anyone on planet earth and don’t ever gain weight. The problem is I don’t eat big enough meals throughout the rest of the day.

Healthy, High calorie eating is hard. Its a lot of food. There's not really an easy way. Just eat a lot. Eat 4 meals a day. If you're burning 2500-3000 cals a day, you should be pretty hungry.

Fats are high calorie but only go with good fats. Use Olive Oil for cooking and It'll add some good cals for you.

I used to cook a lot of chicken thighs. Cheaper and more flavorful than breasts. Seem to take on flavor / seasonings better too.
