TRT Doc Baton Rouge

Just moved back to BR. Looking for a doc to pick up my TRT. Anyone recommend a place or is online the best bet? Have recent labs, and my old place kinda let you base what you needed off of how you felt, as long as you stayed close to within range, and I am looking to just keep doing what I am doing, not start all over.

Why not your primary care physician?

Because those guys typically suck, and mine wanted me to start from scratch despite 2 week old blood work and 2 years of data. I've been on the same dose for over a year, bloods always come back great, feel great, no need to start back at square one.

I tried, they acted like it was some new thing and was life or death. You'd think having years of data and a treatment plan that worked they would just take my money and let me keep on but....

220 a week, Test C. Sooner or later I'm just gonna get pissed off at these people and do it on my own. I am pretty in tune with my body so I always feel like I am wasting money with them but.

its funny but it ends up being, unless you go to somebody really really knowledgable....you end up know more than them. i know way way more than my pcp....but my urolgist at baylor, he knows way more than me but still picks my brain everytime i go in.

Typically 950-1100 total and 35-40 free. Started at 80 and went up over about a years time to 220. Thankfully I have never had issues with anything. I keep it simple, 110 twice a week, rarely have to take Anastrozole, donate maybe every 4 months. Few times a year the wife tells me to take my "Bit*h pill" and I take 1/2 and I'm all good.

bitch pill
looks like you have it figured out pretty good, add boron at 6-9mg and get that free up though, will help things

I have seen others say that a bit. I guess I need to give it a shot. I try to keep it all simple, diet, program etc. I have got a few PPSA plans that I have seen you talk about, good stuff.
Thanks for the knowledge and info you share, I am sure it helps a lot more guys like me that lurk more than post.

how much is this Defy Medical monthly?
Posted on 1/5/23 at 10:25 am to BananaManCan
It’s an on demand pricing not a monthly subscription.
You’ll likely pay ~$400 for blood work every 6 months
~$90-150 every 6 months for nurse prac or doc consult.
The drugs will range depending on what you need
Test cyp 200 10 ml is about $130.
If you need HCG then they’ll have to call it in to another pharmacy since they can’t compound that stuff anymore. But it’ll run you about $110 as well.

My blood labs are half what you say are "likely"
consults are about what you stated
TestCyp is higher through Empower Pharmacy than when I was paying with an open script, but even at that when you annualize Defy vs my previous providers they're cheaper over the long term.
Couple that with the fact that I was having trouble getting dialed in with other providers and Dr. Saya is massively more knowledgeable about HRT I've been very happy with them.

is this local doctor one that only gets you to "normal" and not like the online clinics that do "optimal"? Never done it but started to research the online trt options

This is an online clinic. I prefer “optimal” but if you prefer normal then they can get you there.
