I’m very curious at to what you and BRM think.

I use them very sparingly, but only because I have a pair of ghosts and NBs that need to wear out first.

Size 10 at Leftlane. I guess that doesn't help though. I would cancel. With the razor 3s out there is no way I'd pay 85 for em. I mean I got mine in a 9 at left lane for 30. The extra 25 percent took care of the shipping and there was no tax.

Also at left lane I almost took a chance on some Reebok Float Ride runs for 65.

I'm stoked, they're going to be my daily trainer.

Yeah I saw the 10’s at LL, but 10’s in Skechers are apparently clown shoes on me. Damn LL has some damn good pricing if they have the Float Rides for $65 also.

Think I’m gonna keep em coming. As I’m sure is the case with all of us, it’s not the money, it’s more about finding deals. Sure it may come that I left some on the table here, but I’m pumped about them and really like the color scheme (charcoal/black).

Then I’m curious how the 9s would fit you with the insole removed. I run on the 6s without the insole but that was more of a feel decision.

Left Lane shows the 9’s for $29, but when I go to checkout it tells me they are in somebodys cart?

What size Escalante do you wear?

9 in escalante too. At this point, I’d get the Go Run 6 from Running Warehouse in 9.5 for 55. Same shoe as the razor just different upper.

Then I’d return the 600s so I wouldn’t get my arse whipped by my wife.

ETA leftlane requires you to sign up for a membership. It’s free but they won’t do guest check out.

I haven't read every post in this thread but I just bought a pair of the Nike Pegasus 35 for 89 bucks. Has anybody ran in the Pegasus 35?

This is the first Nike running shoe I have ever owned, just want to get some opinions about this shoe. TIA

The Pegasus is the standard, period. It’s the genesis of the modern running shoe. It will always be Nike’s flagship runner and is a solid choice always.

Personally, I prefer a lighter shoe with a lower drop for my trainer.

Just got a pair of Adidas adizero adios 3 for $62. Was hoping to get a run in them tonight, but that may not happen. When it does, I'll update this.

So, I did manage to get out last night for a 5 miler in these adios 3.

This seems like it'll be a great race shoe or used for speed work/faster runs. It's light and fit was fine (size 12 and no issues compared to other shoes). Really firm feel, which makes it feel fast. It's got a 10mm drop, which is a good bit more than I'm used to, but I have to say I didn't notice it at all.

This won't be a daily trainer for me, but when I want to go fast or race, it should be a nice option.

Thanks. I mainly run (usually 3 miles) 3-4 times a week just to keep in shape for our PT test that we have every year. I've been running in the Hoka's Clifton 4 for little over a year. Its been a good running shoe and the cushion is very nice but I'm ready to try something different. I don't know if this makes sense or not but it seems with the Hoka's, it takes a while to pick up the pace when I need or want to pick up the pace. I'm not that knowledgeable in the proper running shoes but I'm slowly learning.

Gonna be in need of some new shoes here shortly.

What do you people in the NOLA area recommend?

Varsity, NOLA run and walk co. or someplace else

Anybody have any experience with the Mizuno Wave Hitogami v2? I’ve been running in the Sayonara 2’s for a couple years and swear by them and this is a slightly lighter, more responsive version.

Another day, another KOM with GoMeb....

with my dog.

She might have got kicked in the butt a couple of times for not running in a straight line.

What color did y’all get?

I don’t love the red but it was a killer deal. Pizza version only come out for races.

If I could find them, I’d love this model.

I like those and also like the red. Went with these as they were the cheapest in my size. I like the colorway on these also. I tend to lean blackish if I have a choice, so they work. Unless I’m doing something crazy ala the pizza theme.

Black, but for 30 dollars, any color would have done just fine.

Updates boys? I think it will take a bit to get used to the upper but you’ll like it afterwards.
