I broke with tradition today and bought the Mizuno Wave Inspire 16. I also went up half a size after the fitting procedure at Fleet Feet suggested it. I still like my Brooks Adrenaline GTS but I'll give this a shot for the next couple hundred miles. If I don't like them I'll just bounce back to the Brooks.

doesn’t feel bouncy like React Foam,

I got a pair of black infinity run’s for $96 and holy crap, I’ve never felt anything like them. The bounce is insane, and my 190lb frame loves it.

Second week with my Floatrides and I’m not liking them

Usually buy Brooks but I thought I’d mix it up. I wear 11 in every type of shoe since I’ve become an adult and these things are tight as frick. Have random knee pain while running. I’m going to buy some Brooks Ghosts as soon as my Levitates go to shite.

What’s crazy is compared to my Epic Reacts I found the React Infinity felt less bouncy.

My Rincon’s passed the long run test this morning so they get to stay in the stable. FYI for anyone that has the Rincon’s or is considering them - swapping the insoles saves the shoe.

If they ever restock I’ll buy a pair strictly for marathons. Running is my only hobby, I will justify it to myself lol.

1999,

They are re-released on 8/13 @ 9am on Nike.com & their app.

Me & BRM broke down the process a few posts back. Basically, create your account now ( address, payment method, size) and then log in and get "in line" right at 9.

I have some Zoom flys and love them. I ran 6 miles in my Brooks Adrenaline in OB 2 weeks ago. While they are comfy shoes, they are not close to the Zoom flys. Just need a another pair to rotate.

For Next% or the Alpha Fly's?

I've been waiting on Nike to announce the next version of the Zoom Fly. Looks to be [link=(these)]https://hypebeast.com/2020/7/air-zoom-tempo-next-fk-black-volt-ci9923-001[/link]

I do have a question -->

I'll be buying new racing shoes for my upcoming races so what do I do with my near end of life Vaporfly 4%? They are in less than optimal shape due to poor form/foot dragging when I started.

When I purchased them everyone here taught me they were racing only ,not training, and I have held firm to that.

Can I use them during special training runs ( pace/time trials) or is that ill-advised because they are built & engineered for the occasional race only?

I view them as fine to run in until they are dead dead.

They may lose some responsiveness but should still make for a lightweight speed shoe.

So they are retailing in China for 200. Wasn’t 160 standard for the zf3?

I use my 4% for longer runs that I want to test pacing. I may roll them out once a month or maybe twice. I don't find any benefit to using them below 7 or 8 miles. My Next%, have exactly 54.2 miles on them. I did a 10 mile, 18 mile, and marathon. I plan to do the same here soon, unless I convince myself to get the Alpha Flys.
