Check your local Ross stores. Just grabbed a pair of Zoom Fly SP’s for $49.99. Did I need them? Absolutely not...but at that price figured they’re worth a shot

I mean why not, right? Seriously, 49 bucks is about what I thought they were worth when I had a pair about a year and a half ago. It’s a style shoe Nike passes off as an elite trainer. There are some versions of that shoe that still sells for a buck fifty if you can believe it.

That being said you can get about a hundred quick miles in them and then a hundred and some change putting some easy miles on them. Lunarlon is not a responsive foam either.

All and all, you got a pretty good deal.

I’m a sucker for a perceived bargain

Got $130 golf cleats for $30 too, so that was the second win on my trip.

I’m not in the market right now but I was there looking for Christmas presents for the kids and there was a pair of Brooks Revel and Pure Flow, Adidas Pureboosts, NB 590s, Skechers Ultra Pegasus 35s all for under $50.

Oh yeah, I stopped by a Marshall’s too and they had Pureboosts and some nice casual shoes like NMD’d and New Balance 574 Sports. Was quite surprised.

I’m pretty excited about that shoe. Curious what the lifespan will be compared to the relatively low lifespan of other marathon “flats”.

If Skechers wants people to take them seriously, they need to get rid of the corny speed graphic shite.

I agree they could make a better looking shoe without the graphic but I’ve had a couple pair of razor 3’s and could care less what they look like because they feel so good when I run in them.

They several shoes that have been or are about to release that I’d like to try.

So I bought some unique shoes today.

They say they’re “running shoes” but TBD.

Plan on using them more for training and playing basketball with my kids but reviews say they’re a decent running shoe.

If you’re in the market, Ross and Marshall’s have a crap ton of Nike Zoom Flies, adidas boosts, NBs out there after Christmas, I know we’ve talked about it ad nauseum but the market is good right now.

Adidas UltraBoost 19 has been the best shoe I’ve worn in probably the past 10 years. Brooks usually has a great line but for shoes I wear to workout and also daily, they’re hands down my favorite. Expensive at $120-$180 depending but great all around.

I own two pairs.

I’ve owned a pair of alphas starting out. They are a cross trainer and we’re good for up to 8. Bouncy like the midsole name implies but heavy. Good gym shoe.

did 5 in them. they bounce was for sure there, but they were pretty heavy by the end of the run. maybe take them out for a quick 5k but that's about it. got them more for bball and training anyways.

Boston 8s on the way. They're basically a holdover now until I can get the Forever Floatride Energy 2s on sale. The Reebok Forever Floatride series is really my favorite everyday anything shoe right now. I took a 5 mile progression from 630 to 530 mpm on a pair with 350 on em. Felt great. Might be my first 500 mile shoe.

Just ran in the Boston 8s. Same low stack bouncy ride we've all come to enjoy. That upper though... Adidas is really trending the wrong way on the upper of the Boston starting with the 6. It just keeps getting smaller and narrower and that dumbass stripe position causes hot spots.

Get em cheap and go a half size up or go back to the sevens/wait for the 9s.

Nice. I’m bored this afternoon so might go to Dicks to try on the React Infinity and see what the hypes about.

ETA: Just got home. Didn’t buy the Infinity, but as soon as my Epics wear out I will. Really liked them on foot.

Had a pair of Salomon Fellraisers for a couple of years that I ran trails with. They were OK for shorter distances, but on longer runs the toe box was a bit too narrow for me and I had to use tape to avoid hot spots. Agressive tread was great in the mud though.
