Does anyone have any home remedies or stretches for tennis elbow?

Get a tennis elbow brace from the store and wear it nonstop for 2 or 3 weeks. It'll get better in that time.

Buy the theraband flex bar. It worked shocking well for me when I had severe pain in the tendon on the outside of my elbow.

A man hits his ball deep into the woods. While trying to find his ball he finds a few abandoned balls and puts them in his pocket.

After the round he is in the club house and a woman keeps starting at his pants. Finally, he points down and says "golf balls".

The woman looks shocked, and says "and I thought tennis elbow was bad."

i actually have a pretty bad case of this right now on my left elbow. ive had golfers elbow on my right elbow in the past, and had to go through 6 weeks of physical therapy, and take a month and a half off from lifting. this time, for the tennis elbow, they gave me six days worth of steroid pills, and told me to lay off the weights for the next week. if that doesnt cure it, they said they will refer me to a orthopedic doctor. i've been using a heat pad and ice pack at night, and im gonna go buy some stretch bands this evening to stretch it real good each day.

The bar is $25 or so. Why wait while continuing to spend money on therapy?

Just read the stuff I posted above and see if it’d be useful for your specific pain. If it is buy the damn thing and come thank me in a couple weeks (if not sooner)

I've been fighting major elbow pain for the last month. Mainly after a stretch of Hammer curls.
Tried Ice and Rest, didn't help much.
Just bought the bar last week and started using it yesterday.
Will give an update in a few days.

I'm not spending money on therapy. I'm taking meds, resting, and applying heat and ice like a licensed physician recommended. If the licensed physician suggests I complete therapy, I will do so. I have a little thing called "health insurance" which allows me to receive this type of treatment without paying anything out of pocket.

I Use the Theraband bar which I fee works, and I’ve recently started icing in the evening and heating up with massage head in shower - seen a lot of relief from icing recently - I’m sort of blown away by how much the icing down helps

A few days into using the theraband bar. It has definitely helped some. I'm also icing it every afternoon as well.
I've also scaled back a little on my lifting. Mainly by reducing the weight.

Bumping an old thread, but anybody had the surgery to repair it? I have been battling it for over 2 years and now stays sore 24/7. I have done 2 rounds of shots, lots of the therapy, home stretches. Etc.. at my whits end with the aggravation, going the surgery route next month.. anyone have the surgery offer feed back?

I had the surgery for golfer's elbow (Finney). I'm at 100% recovery but I will tell you I rehabbed 7 days a week for about 6-8 weeks. Most days light stretching and ice. By the end of therapy I could rotate a 25 lb dumbbell off a table. Finney said he could see the damaged tissue when he got in there. If you to the surgery route, ask the doctor is he can see that more blood will get to that area of the elbow. That first time I played golf with no elbow pain I almost cried on the course.

I have a touch of tennis elbow in my right arm, but my new ortho has recommended treatment, ice, preventive care over surgery. I wear a "Band-Aid" brace (get one!) when I lift now. So far so good.

I did pre op today and scheduled for it in 2 weeks. I’m being told 8 weeks minimum of recovery , but really hoping to speed it up with therapy. I’m tired of the pain anytime I try the simplest task

Good luck to you. You sound exactly like my situation for golfer's elbow. You have golf (underneath) or tennis (top) tendonitis?

Ordering this today. I get tendinitis BAD whenever I try to do anything with weights. Forget doing curls of any kind. I'll try anything at this point.
