Good buddy started doing formal workout regimen about 2-3 months ago. He’s 46, pretty small frame but constantly always doing shite he just finally decided to do some dedicated workouts for better overall health as he gets older. He’s curious about what supplements to try, mainly creatine so I figured I’d ask the health board gurus for any suggestions as I’m not a huge supplement person. I know creatine is a great product with many well established benefits. Just looking for any suggestions as to brands or other supplements to combine. He’s just looking to help muscles heal quickly and get a little more defined I think. Thanks for any input.

Most researched supplements are creatine, caffeine, and Whey protein/Aminos in that order.

Depending on when he works out and his schedule he can use a clean pre-workout with caffeine, creatine brand doesn't matter as long as it is creapure and either a whey isolate or concentrate. That should be a good start.

Creatine. Protein. Proper nutrition. That’s really it barring any health conditions.
