I get 3mg Life Extension Boron on a monthly recurring order.

I take 6mg in the morning so I’m starting to stock up since it’s 180 tablets and I only take 120/month.

Are y’all taking boron to increase free T? Or are there other benefits?

I'm going to take it to increase the free T, but this article explains a lot more.

Next question is, why would someone take boron instead of just increasing their dose of testosterone? Just curious because I’ve seen both recommendations floating around.

#1 because what matters is free testosterone not overall total. free is what is not bound and is usuable

#2 increasing total comes with increased side effects and small uptick in risk in other areas

#3 why not increase free test first. then as you plateau in strength/muscle gains, bump trt dose? remember we are always looking for minimum effective dosing so that we have some place to go when we plateau and we minimize any side effects

and also boron has tons of other benefits. I like it for free test but also the anti-cancer properties.

this article from examine goes over most things. between that and the study Jose linked, tells you everything you need to know.

IMO creatine and boron are two things pretty much every human, male or female, should be taking.

Good question, I'm mid 40s and not on TRT, I hope boron along with a few other vitamins and good exercise, diet and sleep keep me from having to ever go on TRT.

yep

your next step if low should be something like sustain alpha or even dermacrine before going on trt. if you can keep your total t levels around 500 or more and good free test...dont do trt.

trt sounds cool...but shite gets really old after a couple years.

One of these preferred over D-aspartic acid?

Thanks! And while we are here I was in Costco the other day and saw they had this on sale, any value or just a waste of time?

sustain alpha with boron up to 15mg would be my recommendation for overall testosterone health.

Alright yall convinced me. I just ordered the 10mg now brand from Amazon. Hoping it’ll allow me to back off my test dosage a little. How long do yall think I should wait to re check labs? 12 weeks sound good?

It’s not the boron because supplements don’t do anything
