I ended up ordering them from Finer Form because it was 100 dollars cheaper.

I’ve just been slowly adding plates to my Walmart DB set.

A set of 80s now and it didn’t cost $745.

One of my noubells broke within the first two weeks and I don’t drop them. I have been waiting on a replacement for almost a month now.

Their site has them for $745, they may be cheaper elsewhere, but they would have to be significantly cheaper if I were to consider buying them.

FTR bolt just came out with their version....much less plastic and can be dropped. They are new though and not sure how the weight jumps go, but something to look at.

I looked at the bolt ones when I picked up my rack. I think they are the exact same product, just branded as "Bolt".

I fully trust Bolt products. Every single item I've purchased from them has held up. Can't go wrong with them.

So far I agree. I purchased some plates from Rep that had reviews stating the tolerance was suspect. So I weighed them and they were within stated tolerance, but a little low. While I had the scale out, I weighed my Bolt bumper plates and every single one was spot on perfect or a tenth or two over stated weight. Very happy with the quality so far.

Yeah, I don't mean to sound like an add for them but they're good. When I was visiting a buddy last year in Houston, I went and bought some things in person. It's in kind of a strange part of the city, but inside the place has pretty much every piece of equipment they sell so you could walk around and check it out. I spent way too much money that day but saved a ton on shipping.

What is meant by strange part of the city? Like don't leave anything of value in your car?

Never leave anything of value in your car anywhere in Houston . It's just kind of an industrial, warehouse for rent type of area. It took me a second to even see where to go in. Someone basically came up to a garage bay door that had a gate across to let me in and it's just a big warehouse with everything set up for you to look at. Then there's another building where they store yhe inventory that you can pick up. It doesn't have a typical showroom/front meant for everyday shoppers. But its worth going if you are close and seriously interested.

I ended up acquiring a set of the 90lb commercial Powerblocks with the stand. I have never been more excited about a piece of equipment.
