Have we debated this on here recently, fellow swaggy fitness bros?

I started out strongly preferring the steam room but I've since started to prefer the sauna. Main reason is that I feel my eyes (the aging aspect of the skin under and around my eyes, specifically) seem to prefer the sauna by a wide margin. The sauna feel is a little more subtle - it has to sort of get under your skin a bit and grow on you whereas the steam room was like instant gratification.

After a week of steam only my eyes appeared dehydrated and the crows feet were more pronounced, but now after a week of sauna only they've noticeably more elasticity and the signs of aging appear greatly diminished. This is a tennis and swim club with a huge international membership base, and I've also noticed that all the heavy Americans hit the steam room while all the super fit Asians and Europeans strongly prefer the sauna.

In all other aspects the two rooms seem to provide similar benefits although I do prefer the visual look of the steam and the feel of the moist air in my lungs

Shaving is way easier after the steam room, comes right off even without shaving cream. Hurts like a bitch if I shave any other time.

Rhonda Patrick and Ben Greenfield both tout the health benefits of sauna.

I find the sauna to be much more relaxing and better for the sinus cavity.

I started doing the sauna a few times/month from 2014-2018. When I changed gyms and had both options, I’ve been 90% steam room and 10% sauna.

This thread has me thinking I’ll start going back to mostly sauna. My eyes have started to look aged also. Sauna also has nice TV always on ESPN.
