You go first

I'm fatter now. I haven't really worked out in a year and I feel everything jiggle.

Stop being good at Fortnite and I bet that will help.

It's bad. I'm like 235lbs and 22% BF.

I did powerlifting and had an injury that I wanted to heal. That plus my gym in the garage provided no motivation.

I joined a gym recently just to get my butt back in it.

Definitely lost some definition and hardness/thickness

Went from 5 days a week while in school to 2 days a week post-school

I've dropped.from 205 to 180 over the course of 2 years.

My core lifts make me feel ashamed. I went from benching 315x5 at the top of a pyramid set, to barely lifting 250x5.
Pretty much the same thru all of my lifts.

Please shame me horribly. Transitioning from college student to productive member of society has killed my gym life.

That's absolutely freaking terrible. Might as well call yourself the dad bod. Get your act together and get your arse in that gym you useless unathletic citizen. Show that your better!

I want pics in the progress thread in 1 month.

This thread hits a little too close to home. Checking in at 240 right now having put on a good 30 pounds or so. Been damn near a year and a half since I did anything in the gym. Started a new job, found a new girl and got engaged in that time period so it's been easy to be lazy. Just got a new rack put together and installed in the basement and am on week 3 of lifting again. Just gotta get my diet in check. Back on the train though, but it's embarrassing how far I've fallen. I look a hell of a lot closer to the old before pictures I posted a while ago than I do the after

After 35 or so years of basically eating like a fatass, I started to attempt to lose weight at 6' 0", 255 lbs and got down to 170 but then got lazy and got back up to about 225. Now I'm back down to 190 but I never should have let myself get back up that high.

The first time I lost weight, I did only CICO. Now I'm doing CICO but I'm more careful about what I eat, trying to avoid most things with added or processed sugar. It's mostly keto but I do eat fruits also. I'm also doing weight training in the mornings.

Maybe not quite what the OP meant but I was going through some pictures from 2016 yesterday that made me feel shamed.

I used to be 363 pounds.. seen below:

I lost 113 pounds in around 2 years, got to 250.. Seen below:

Then I met my wife in 2015 and ballooned back up, and got to 300 pounds again.. seen below:

I've been clawing my way back down since.. between just eating better, drinking less, and crossfitting I got back down to my 270s last year. So far, since November, I've gone from 274 back to 256 with a very controlled deficit.

I'm at the end of this dieting cycle (lasted 24 weeks.. im tired of it). I'm going to spend a total of 12 weeks reverse dieting to get my calories back up to maintenance, then maintain to get a bit of a break and work on some strength/muscle gain. Then hit it again. Gotta get to my goal weight before my little boy can remember me being a lazy fatass.

Bottom line for me is I give respect to anyone who invests in their own health. We've all got families who need us and you do better when you're healthy.
