Still holding steady around 195. But I've quit caring about the number on the scale (as long as it doesnt go up much) and working on body recomp for a bit.

I switched from a balanced macro intermittent fasting diet to high protein/fat under 20g carbs daily fat burning diet. Been reading the rapid fatloss thread. Trying to get this titty and belly fat gone for the first time in 15 years. According to my Renpho and picture comparisons, I'm probably around 20-24% body fat right now. Would love to get to atleast 15%

Loving PPSA. Nothing i look forward to more now than getting in a good workout in every other day.

I wonder if it's possible to cut weight like a prize fighter and dip all the way to 170 just to say I lost 100lbs.

Still 195. But I did start adding a little creatine to my morning protein shake a couple weeks ago, so maybe I'm not really at a plateau. I've just swapped some fat for water and muscle. . I did not do the 20mg a day loading thing. I just started taking a 5mg scoop with my shake in the mornings.

What have you been eating and how often have you been exercising? I can get to the gym but the consistency with diet is what gets me. Need some good ideas if you don’t mind sharing, especially for breakfast and lunch.

Sorry, I just saw this. I weight train 3x a week (whole body workout) and I run 1.5 miles/walk 1.5 miles at least 3x a week also. I've been running/walking more than that though... probably 5x a week currently.

For eating, I haven't kept track of calories or anything. I just changed my habits and eat a much higher protein/lower carb diet. I don't really snack between meals and I don't snack at night. I sometimes have an apple or a string cheese stick between meals... that's why I said I don't really snack between meals.

For breakfast, I either do 2 eggs and bacon or one of the protein cups (add an egg) and an apple. I think the increased protein has helped me stay full much longer.

My lunches are pretty basic, but I'm the type of person that can do basic. I'll do a sandwich wrap (keto friendly wrap) with ham, turkey, chicken, bacon, lettuce, tomatos, pickles and then an apple. Or like today, I had a hamburger patty with cheese and guac, and I had some steamed veggies with it.

I don't drink calories except an occasional beer or whiskey... obviously not with lunch! Sometimes my wife will bring home a meat burrito from a local taco shop and I'll swap out the tortilla for one of my keto friendly tortillas.

My dinner is whatever my wife cooks, but without the white rice or normal pasta. I'll use whole grain pasta or brown rice instead. I'll steal a bite of my wife's dessert, but I won't have a whole dessert myself. Moderation is absolutely key with that stuff.

I did just get back from a week vacation and I tried to stick to my plan as much as possible, but I did indulge a bit.... okay a lot . I gained a couple pounds on the vacation but I've already lost it.

2nd week in a row the scale didn't move. Actually, up a pound. I'm going to have to start tracking to make the most of the GLP, though I'm nowhere close to a clinical weight loss dose.

Got a few workouts in this week. Still not feeling 100%, my sinuses never cleared from COVID and turned into a sinus infection.

Took my first tirzepatide 2.5mg tonight. If I don't wake up I blame uncle jackd

I’ve been in and out of this thread for a while now but never gave my full stats. Mostly because In the beginning my number were so damn embarrassing and discouraging. I figured now was a good time to join in and add some accountability and maybe help others who are in the same position I was in.

March of 23’ I started on GLP drugs with a starting weight of 393. Today I weight In at my lowest weight since prob Jr high at 214. With the help of the medicine and information/tips from this board, I’m a completely new fella today and probably added 20 years to my life. I’m in the gym lifting 5-6 days a week and keeping a strict high protein diet. The scale has slowed a little but bf% continues to come down so I’m good with that.

Anyways.

Holy hell, absolutely incredible transformation!!! Looking at your current picture, I'd never have believed your real starting weight.

I'm not sure where I am currently. Being out of power all last week due to the hurricane made food options extremely limited. Combine that with being out of town this week and I probably took a step backwards. I'll post and update when I get back later this week.

Thanks boss. Still got work to do, of course, but at least I’m now at a comfortable weight.

Down another pound this week, nice slow pace and probably go get a inbody scan in another couple weeks to see what my BF percentage is.
I have really stepped up my mileage walking and rucking the last two weeks as well as a serious reduction in my alcohol intake.
I didn’t drink a single drink in the last 7 days and I truly think that it’s helping with not only the calories but allowing me to go at it harder than if I had been drinking on the wknd.

Where do yall get these done? My gym does styku scans but I’m not sure how accurate they are.

Nutrishop on the north shore has one, stop in an buy some protein powder and get a scan for free.
If you goggle inbody scan they have a “finder” that you can search by city and plug in a radius.
