i was literally shitting 3 times a day and just farting like crazy.

I have a different issue. I have IBS-C. It's miserable. On keto, my GI works runs like a German train station.

I also get bloated and not in the best of moods. Nobody believes me about the gas until they try low carb and get off it. I really just don't fart anymore. It's weird.

Thanks for the recs on the scan. I think I'm going to go after Easter when I am closer to my goal weight. that'll help me dial in on the work that needs to be done. Right now, it's obvious: weight loss and general strength building.

Coach, 5 Star Nutrition in LC has the InBody machine, and its free. I've gone multiple times and got the scan and rolled out without buying anything. Other times, I grab a thing of preworkout if I'm running low. They never really seemed to care. The only problem is that they want to discuss my diet, my goals, my nutrition, my supplements, etc. I don't blame them, because that's how they make their money, but its kind of annoying. I know they mean well.

this is me, except not keto but carnivore. other than potatoes and small amounts white rice...carbs frick my stomach up. veggies do the same. Fruit is good with it though.

growing up i used to get gas pains so bad i would be on all 4 after eating to the point it would bring me to tears. I also have unusally high amounts of gas as an adult...to the point my mother in law thinks something is wrong with me

and now that i know 5 star is free....might have to hit that up.

How are yall getting clean carbs? I have my macros set at 194 P/310 C/121 F but I'm struggling to even break 200g of carbs. I'm eating rice and potatoes every day but I can only do so much of that and veggies have such little caloric value.

Maybe eat some fruits? I'm not currently tracking macros. Just calories and keeping protein high-ish.

It's rough getting back and maintaining the motivation to get back to where I used to be

2 Time NPC Bodybuilding Champ in 2008/2009
3 Time NGA Bodybuilding Champ in 2011/2012
Various other shows and placements
Won 1 powerlifting meet

Got married in 2015, kid in 2018, diet got worse and worse after kid was born, but training remained solid

Competed at 150-160lbs, Offseason around 180 (I'm 5'6")

Still train regular, just not as heavy as I used to

Committed to getting back to 180
Topped out at 198 3 months back

So far, 2 weeks in, doing good, sticking to diet

Got 1 more show planned when my son is old enough to understand and remember what dad used to do

Good Luck to all on this journey

The scale isn't moving for me this week so far. It's my wife's b-day week, so I am cooking every night and having a bit too much wine. I'm not logging dinners, but know they are keto. There's a 100% chance I am going over or staying right at my usually calorie intake and that's keeping me at 252.2

My treadmill misses me as well. Ill get on it today and all weekend to make up for missing the last 3 days. Pushups are going great!

However, my shirts are fitting a tiny bit better. It may be my imagination, but I'll take it.

Wife ended up testing positive for COVID Tuesday so I'm stuck at home until at least Saturday, baring me testing positive. Guess I'll have to do a little more cardio since the gym isn't available to me.

Bro, just go to the gym. frick it. I've had two colds in the last two years, with symptoms worse than my mom and her husbands symptoms when they have the vid over christmas. And I tested negative for the vid both times. They are 65 and 82. They were fine.

Covid is much more mild now, and if you are that concerned, take your temp before going. No fever, no covid.

Bada bing bada boom.

Gainz above all, bro.

My wife hasn't had a fever since she tested positive so that isn't true.

I'm getting tested tomorrow so I can go back into the office and if that's negative then I'll get back at it on Saturday.

Is she actually sick? Could be a false positive.

She is definitely sick, just doesn't have a fever. She works in healthcare so this was bound to happen. Hopefully she's good in another day or two.

just gonna keep my nose to the grindstone until then and hopefully I'll have made enough progress I'll be determined not to fall off the wagon
