It's a well done program but to me the real appeal of PPSA is the weird arse splits/supersets. That's kinda lost in a classic PP split. I did like the shoulders superset and the AMRAPS though

Benchamin Franklin 2 should be dropping pretty soon.

I'm thinking Hypertrophy though.

I doubt there is too much interest, but the dumbbell strength program is hard AF and a great workout

I'm about to run that for the third time. This doesn't count as a vote though, since I'm going to run AF no matter what.

I typically enjoy all of the PPSA programs but I wish they had some negatives and pauses on the squats, more chest specific movements on the bench day, etc.

Thats what was nice about Pump City day 1. Barbell bench press followed by incline dumbbell press.

Me and my son did a mix of pause reps, unbroken sets, and slow eccentrics on the 60-65% set squats throughout pool seasons, and then added an amrap as the last set for the last squat session of the week.

I’ve contemplated just subbing in incline bb and db press for bench some months but haven’t yet. I’m worried he hits the shoulders so hard in some programs that I might not be able to handle it with more incline pressing.

I wish he programmed rfess and front squats a lot more and hamstring curls ever.

good luck with that. should prolly start with greyskull lp then greyskull powerbuilding before you start trying to run a program like heavy duty.
