20 goblet squats made mine feel like that too.

5 days I guess the choices are Brick House, Filling out the Hoodie 2, Dr Jacked 1, and Elbow Meat?

I’m only doing big back billy as a group. I’ll wimp out if I’m going solo. I really don’t like snatch grip deads

Big Back Billy is fine with me!

I have been telling myself I need to increase my cardio so Wednesdays may be for cardio.

I’ll keep doing something on Wednesday. Maybe a dumbbell workout since we will be back on the bar.

W3D2 Jacked Up Joker

Fairly long workout today. With warm-up I was right at 100 min.

Pump city day 7 was a good no surprises push day. Hit 205lbs for 12 on last set which I think is a PR for reps for me at that weight.

On another note, today marked 2 years of consistent strength training for me. I’m 5’11” and 49 years old, and I’ve gone from 230 lbs and 30+% bf to 186lbs and ~12% (from both Navy method and Fitbit scale), and went from using 5-35lb dumbbells for working out on a PPL to being right at 1000lb club (based on TMs) running PPSA.

Lifting weights changed my life for the better, and these PPSA programs and this forum has been a big part of it. My son started lifting weights with me around Squatober, and running these programs has been a fun and safe way to share healthy habits with him too.

That's amazing! Hope I can get to a similar place myself.

Brickhouse is the most balanced of the 4 options listed (elbow meat, filling hoodie, dr jacked). Elbow meat was probably the most fun though. Loved all the forearm work.

Congratulations Canuck, imo those are awesome numbers and should be a badge of pride, for both body comp, progress and power production.

I’m looking forward to running something other than a PPL split again. What I did like about Pump city is it has 6 different workouts (2 push/2pull/2leg) for a lot of variety: Dr Jacked looks like it also does that.

Strongville W3D2 done. Fatigue is definitely starting to build, but all the lifts felt great.

Curvy thick road complete.

Felt good to do some heavy deadlifts again. Hadn’t done those in a while.

I was looking at those last night. I've been going heavy on my DB RDLs so we'll see how it translates.

W3D3 Jacked Up Joker

Bench (the main lift today) was the easiest of the lifts. 10x10 OHP got heavy by set 5 or 6. Felt weird using just 65 and 75 lbs. The triceps pushdowns (25x4) and shrugs (50x4) even felt tougher than bench. Looking at tomorrow's plan, I figure the hammer curls will be the worst of it.

Squats were easy and I did heavy dumbell bench press instead of BB bench press. Then the heavy deadlifts
