So it wouldn't bother you if someone walks up to the bar between sets and takes off with your weights? You aren't using them.
If the weights are at my station, they are mine. If you need a weight just ask me. If I don't need it, I will give it to you no problem. To just walk up and take one without acknowleding me or asking to use one is just being a dick. As someone said etiquette/courtesy goes a long way.

My biggest pet peeve with my gym is that my wife makes me wear pants if I want to leave the garage door open while I lift. The nerve on her.

A local reporter used to do probably 9 sets of t bar rows over a 35 minute stretch in my gym. Follow that with minimum 5 sets of lat pull downs then leave. And seemed to be the only muscle group he ever did.

Other than leaving weights on the floor and/or not putting them back in order along with leaving a massive pool of sweat on bench, I don't really care. I'll adjust my workout as needed.
I do find the 80's workout attire by the new crowd funny but I still roll my eyes.

Smart Phones
People who don't re-rack weights
Teenagers grouped up accomplishing nothing
Absolutely hate a packed gym, so I go 1 or 1:30 in the afternoon. I have found this to be a sweet spot for a partially empty gym

I would never allow that... if someone walks up and snags your weights from your station in between sets that is a borderline fight worthy offense. I don't think many people would disagree
