Whoa…70s big is a big time program. I would recommend something a little easier before you jump into the deep end like that. Some of them leg days on 70s big will make you wish you never picked up strength training
You should try something like superset after grasshopper then something like pump city if you want more push pull legs style training.

Maybe I'll go with SuperSet or OakTree.
What are your thoughts on Benchamin Franklin or filling out the Hoodie?

filling out the hoodie is awesome
if it was me, i would run like this
finish grasshopper as planned
superset
pool season 1
pool season 2
filling out the hoodie 1
filling out the hoodie 2
arm farm
thats how i would set up the rest of the year
then come january, go with something a little harder like oak tree, meat wagon, strongville etc

I guess I will have to buy some resistance bands next. Pretty much every plan I've looked at after Grasshopper requires bands at some point.
Everywhere online recommends Rogue. Any other recs?

Love this program. Going to buy as many as I can, and rotate through them as maxes and weights increase. Noticing mental growth as well

If this guy ran a TD special with a coupon code I'd buy a few immediately

any suggestion on adding creatine to my pre-workout routine? I usually just drink water and black coffee. Drink a protein shake after my workout. Should I add creatine to my pre-workout?
I'm doing fine right now without it.

Creatine is essential. You'll get a lot of strong recs for creatine around here. It just flat out works. It's not going to do anything extra for you in your pre-workout, just take it daily in whatever way you want to that's easiest. If that means in your pre-workout, have at it.
As for bands, don't feel locked in to Rogue's bands, while they are good, I've used others that are just as good. I'd look around for a sale and just buy what's marked down to move, bundles of bands are great ways to save on cost. Every reputable equipment manufacturer has their own bands, so it's just all about finding something on sale.

i personally think the westside and elitefts bands are better than rogue. i have both rogue and elitefts and prefer elitefts way more
and they only require bands if you dont have the other equipment but bands are cheap and provide the ability for a lot more variations.

I agree, I only have Rogue bands now because they marked them down for closeout, Elite FTS are the best IMO, but if it's just me working out and using my own bands I'm just getting whatever. If I had to buy bands that were gonna be used in a gym by dozens or maybe even hundreds of people, I'd be more concerned about their resiliency, but my current crop of Rogue bands are about 6 years old and they feel no different than when they were brand new. They only get used by one guy though, they'll probably last forever.

What do you plan to use them for?
My main reasons when I bought mine were chinup/pullup assistance and mobility work. Nowadays, I pretty much only use 1 of my 6 or so bands to do face pulls and pull a parts for warmups, but they've been nice tools to have for anything I do where I need assistance(Nordic curls for example). They've been great to have around for stretching and mobility work too.

Finished pool season 1 this morning. Awesome plan. I have noticed growth in my chest and arms, and feel more confident overall than before i started. Going to run it back and increase maxes by 10 pounds, and then switch to filling out the hoodie. Long term, my plan is to cycle through plans as strength and weights increase

PPSA exercises, face pulls, tricep push dows, being the main ones i see on the sample pages he provides. maybe some help with multi set pullups.

Well, it's been a while, but I have been reading/keeping up with things. So good to read how everyone has been managing with these plans.
Update: Pool season 1 and 2 in Jan/Feb were brilliant programs. Managed to get sick and also brake my finger towards the end of PS2, so I was out of a couple of weeks until I could pull with a wrist strap.
Completed Pump City, it's another awesome plan, with really cooked legs here and challenging AMRAPs there. This plan was on and off due to life, work and study, but I did what I could where I could. Still feel I made good progress.
This is why I am more into the 3 day spit programs now, because they work well around sport, work and family life atm.

First week of House of 1000 reps and only completed 2 days (Tues/Sat) due to travelling for wife's surgery. Glad I did, as I needed the extra days to recover. Planning on trying the 3 day split this week if all goes well.
Really happy with this full body program after completing Pump City. I can see this being one of my favourites up there with Stacked and Jacked.
My watch indicated I burned around 1300 cals on Tuesday and around 1400 cals today. Each session took just over 2 hours to complete, but I wanted to ease myself in as much as possible on the first week.
After 1000 reps, I will get back on the Brace Yourself.. It's Coming Plan, as it's also full body and 3 days split

house of 1000 reps is so much volume so monitor fatigue closely
