I’m on the last week of 2 right now and this will be my second time running through both 1 and 2. I think I like 2 better but both are good programs. 2 gets heavier on all lifts, but especially on Squat and DL and has a bunch of shrugs in it. Big pump Friday is still a tough MFer. If you like 1 you’ll like 2 imo

those of yall that enjoy arm farm....gonna just say although strongville is tons of heavy work, there is some form of arms everyday and tons of volume to put on size. be prepared though, just doing the prescribed and sticking exactly to the program will put you in the 90min range minimum.

most people with warmups and everythign will be closer to 2 hours, especially in a public gym.

Yes. It’s a lot of work. This morning, Day 2, took me 2 hours. I’m going to have to wake up a little earlier.

I just finished pool season. Definitely made gains though I just started workout out consistently after years off. I am starting the return of Dr. Jacked 5 days a week this weekend. Does anyone have experience with this one and how much time to allot a day for this workout? I did pool season in about 50 minutes per day.

prolly be pretty close to pool season. 1 hour to 1:15. Day 3 will prolly be the longest based on lay out and week 4 seems to ramp volume some.

50 min for pool season is impressive. must not be in a hot arse garage gym

Anything wrong with doing the cardio portion later in the day? I’m pressed for time at random moments due to work.

do what you ahve to do. I have missed the "cardio" portion plenty of times due to time constraints. Key is to put in consistent strength training and to string the sessions together. when, where and how are much less important than the consistency.

The "cardio" is the best part but I can see how you would cut it out for a daily workout when some of these workouts have had me lifting for 90 minutes.

well strongville gets long as frick the last 2 weeks and its hot as balls in the garage gym right now. so sometimes i just become so exhausted i cant really even push anymore without it becoming almost counter productive.

i do want to run strongville again when its cooler outside for sure.

I would die trying to work out in my garage hence why my boat has been neglected for so long

man you really kind of get used to it and if you open the bay door plus a side door and put fans, its not too bad, especially late at night. But its 100% a difference compared to working out in AC for sure.

WK4 grasshopper done

Start 4 days/WK next week.. gonna bump training maxes up a bit too.

NGL id like it if these were a tad shorter. ~90min most days and, once i factor in drive, 2hrs of my day.. at least I get in AC. . I started keeping a rest timer bc I noticed I started dragging toward last exercise and was making workouts take way too long.

But they are really good workouts. Im enjoying the program.
