southernelite how is your gf liking the bike?
If she is looking for a really fun ride (that isn't too hard) have her try Robin Arzon's 30 minute The Greatest Showman Ride from 11/16/18. If she likes the soundtrack to that movie she will love this ride. I just finished it and really loved it.
Cody Rigsby did a 45 minute Christina Aguilera ride on 10/5/18 that was also a lot of fun as well. He also did a Backstreet Boys vs NSYNC 45 minute ride on 3/16/18 (listed as a 45 min pop ride).
If any Peloton riders here are looking for more people to follow on the bike...my LB name is pugLYFE

She hasn’t gotten on it yet. She’s trying to find some shoes. I’m hoping she enjoys as much as I have.
I’ve been working through some of the advanced beginner classes, anxious to get to the point where I can try some of the more difficult rides. Alex advanced beginner ride was one of the best I’ve had so far.

They come with the compatible cleat. And are compatible for look delta or spd cleats. $85 for shoes and the cleats isn't a bad price. I bought a size up cause I didn't want it to be too tight in the toes during a ride and while they are a little big a size up...it's fine.

Peloton is better but I about that screen with looks cool but see all the negative reviews with norditrack. Peloton has stores all across us you can visit the bike but i don't think norditrack does or I don't know where a store might carry them.

Holy crap. So I did the 14 day trial on my iPhone until the bike arrives. I am at an embassy suites so just had the reclining bike type. I did a 30 minute 90’s ride. I had to figure out how to translate cadence and resistance (RPM and level).
I could barely get up off the bike after I was done.. I used to mountain bike and my legs haven’t felt that jellyish in a long time.
ETA: just realized there are hardness levels on the videos. 8 out of 10 probably wasn’t a good choice for my first go.

You can look on the peloton website to find which hotels have pelotons.
Also...on the Peloton fb group people post all the time asking about which hotels in certain locations have pelotons .

Since I don’t know the software good enough yet, is there a way to make a TD group (would it even be worthwhile? )
I am excited. I regularly go into the gym with no direction and certainly don’t wobble out like I did today.
ETA: I hate FB so hopefully there are other ways to group up.

How long does it normally take to get delivered? They are saying 2-3 weeks.

It took mine 3 days, but I ordered in August 2017 in the DFW area. Since you ordered around black Friday, it'll take longer as it's a very popular time of year to order due to the deal they gave, plus it depends where you live.

I am really looking forward to it. I have started some classes using the app and it is very motivating. Is it ok that I pick my classes based on the looks of the trainer?
