I ran a race in April in 1:53, if that makes you feel any better!

Awesome job on the runs today, fellas.

Dealing with some ankle tightness/soreness that started during my long run yesterday. I was afraid it was achilles but seems like it’s my inner ankle. I’ve been icing since, although no swelling or anything. First long run back in the Solar Boost. I don’t wanna blame the shoes, but it may be. Gonna leave them on the shelf for a bit. Hit some elliptical and core work today. Will make myself rest the legs tomorrow.

Looks like someone in our Strava group ran a Full today.

Great runs today guys. I'm going to get in a few short distance sprints this afternoon at some point. Dragging arse today after doing 11 yesterday and staying up and watching football.

Saw the NYC winner did it in 2:05. All you marathoners you now have goals! Haha

Hell yeah! Man, it keeps getting tighter. Should be pretty flat in LV huh?

Vegas looks to be pretty flat, much flatter than what I’m used to training on at least. Nice slow downhill from around mile 5 to about 15 I believe

Don’t post in this thread, but read it every now and then. Y’all are a lot quicker than me but 6th marathon down and 1st NYC. Track was cool, run was tough. The bridges are no joke. Finished in 4:02. Beer time

Nice. I’ll try to run one of the big marathons one day.

I’ve been sick the last few days so no runs here. Hopefully this is my normal one time to get sick per year.

Awesome job. Especially on the marathon. I have never finished a half and felt like I could have gone another mile. But then again, I’ve run 5 halves and never trained for it. Just kinda hoped I had the endurance.

All of you had great runs and I just went 4 easy with my dogs.

5 miles out from 1k miles on the year. Might try and get it tomorrow instead of the gym. 5 days later than intended.

Are you wallowing in self pity and whining about how all is lost and there’s no coming back from this?

Because that’s all my wife has been listening to since I got sick a few days ago.

Doctor said common cold. I’m on the mend though. I may try a short 2 miler tomorrow afternoon and gradually increase to a 10 mile long run on Saturday. Only thing I worry about is my 20 miler is next Saturday.

No I tried updating Salmon on that a while back. Signed up for the December 8th Huntsville marathon. Didn’t think I’d be ready by November and I was right.

Greta job. Are all runners provided a time chip? Crazy how long it takes to get all those runners across the start line.

Need some advice gang...my half is Sunday. My app is telling me to run 5 miles on Saturday. That doesn't seem right to me.

Any suggestions for running this week? I'm heading out of town later today for this week for work but still want to get a few runs in, but 5 miles the day before doesn't seem right to me.

Open to any suggestions.
