Maybe in miles, but no one is touching my elevation gains. 14ft over 15 miles

Well about 20 of my miles were in the Rio Grande valley. They don’t believe in elevation.

First day running in the new and improved 54° weather and it felt great. Did an easy 7.35 miles in 65 minutes. Tomorrow is the longest run of my training, 14 miles. Four weeks to go.

Welp, long run planned for today but I guess my unborn son had other plans. My wife’s water broke about 12:40 last night. Needless to say, won’t be getting any runs in in the very near future and may have to re adjust the near term race goals. All about the lil man for now!

Richmond VA Half. They run a full, half, and 8k all on the same day on the Saturday of Veterans Day weekend. Last year I ran the 8k.

The full is promoted as one of the most popular races for runners trying to qualify for Boston. I am nowhere near that level.

18 miles. The cool weather made it feel easy. Didn’t break too much of a sweat. My heart rate stayed in the aerobic range until the last two-three miles when it crept to 170. Breathing was good.

Legs hurt like hell though. I struggled running slow. Ran about 13 miles at a 10:15 pace (race pace) even though I was legitimately trying to slow to around 10:45. Body kept speeding up. Last five miles were tough but I finished at a 10:30 pace.

Ran a local 10 mile race this morning. 7:38 pace. 1st pkace masters (yes it was a relatively small field). Forgot my watch, so i gotta figure out how to get my run transferred from Nike + run app to garmin/strava

Had a thirty minute window on the long run today 1:45 - 2:15. Decided to go closer to the latter with one stipulation that if even one hair on my body felt uncomfortable, I’d stop. That moment came at 2:10. 17.1, 51 for the week.

13.1 this morning. Very slow pace so wasnt expecting it to be hard, but felt really good. I had another 2 to 3 miles in me. It's not even cool (upper 70s), but it was mild enough and not oppressively humid.

Today was 2 hours and 3 minutes over 14 miles, with one nasty hill. It was a beautiful morning at 54°. 34 miles for the week.

I'm ready.

You hogs aren't worth a shite on a football field, but solid on the pavement. Very impressive distances and times you guys post.

Ran 13.2 this morning at 8:53. Got a late start because I thought it was going to be cool. It was not cool, and had the sun on my back the better part of the run back. Probably cost me a couple of minutes overall.
