Got 10 in at 9:25 pace despite sleeping like poopoo. Time for kegstands and (hopefully) an upset of the Tigas.

Average HR of 158. Felt great. Could easily go another 10+ miles today.

My average HR was 154. Pretty happy about that considering the distance and other factors.

I have a nasty blister on my Achilles heel thanks to trying a new pair of shoes

Any advice on how to make it heal as quick as possible

Neosporin and put some of those liquid bandage or blister tape over it for your next few runs

Did 6 today @8:24 with 142 avg hr and 380 elevation gain. When I started it was 61° outside and sunny. Felt real good. I'll do a long run tomorrow and then get ready for the first of two upcoming races. Next Sunday is the Utica Boilermaker 15k and then two Sundays after is the Syracuse Mountain Goat 10 miler. Haven't run the Mountain Goat yet, and I'm hoping to PR the Boilermaker, especially with the temporary move from July to October.

It's as flat as Kansas where I live.

I rolled my ankle a little yesterday. It's a little sore. I'm worried about my sprint intervals tomorrow.

Icegator337 & I did SugarMan Tri this morning. Lot of fun. Excited to focus solely on running for the next 5-6 months now

Not throwing any stones! I meant my Sat run didn’t have much in it. Nice change of pace for me.

5 miles @ 9/mile. Average HR 170. Hill repeats today. Sprint the uphill and easy pace the flat and downhill portions. 250ft of gain today. Flattest course I run.

Ran in the Xero sandals again. Finally getting comfortable in these. Talk about SMOKING your calves and feet!

Yeah, I've been hoping it would change but seems it's pretty set on being crap.

Oh I know man. I was just picking

Because my ankle is still a little sore, I treated this as my rest day and will move today's run to Friday. I didn't want to risk anything, especially since I would be doing sprint intervals at my fastest pace since probably high school.

Here is what the rest of my week looks like:
Tuesday - 15 mile bike
Wednesday - tempo run, 1 mi easy, 5 mi at MP (9:09/mi), 1 mi easy
Thursday - 5 mi (9:54/mi)
Friday - 4 x 0.50 mi (7:24/mi pace) with 2 min rest interval jogs
Saturday - 9 mi (9:54/mi)
Sunday - 15 mi Z2 recovery bike

Anyone ever ran in Knoxville?

I'm excited to do so, but I do not know if I will do well considering the hilly/mountainous terrain.

I ran a little bit of the Greenway (Neyland and James White) down by the Tennessee River. I remember that being relatively flat.
