I don’t think so.

Didn’t you run a sub 1:30 half and a 36 10k?

I mean it’s not dead on but it’s saying you’re going to throw up comparable numbers (your results a bit better.)

Burt - You still planning on doing the Full at the end of the year, since you already qualified for NYC? I'm thinking Jazz Half on 10/26 (BnG gonna do it also), then roll into Marathon training for the Woodlands Full 3/17/20. Thinking I will use Daniels Plans for both. With my work schedule I like the fact that he only gives 2 runs/workouts a week and you can get the remainder of mileage in as your schedule allows.

Yeah, might as well get Boston and NYC knocked out in the same year. Boston only takes full results so I'm going to do the the White River Marathon.

I'll have to look at Daniels. By the time fall comes, I'd like to be in the 70/80 range as far as miles goes.

Cool, yeah he has different levels (weekly mileage to choose from)

Check out this link. Pretty comprehensive comparisons, this dude put some effort into putting all of this together.

Ran my 5K today in 20:49. That’s a personal best by over 2 minutes. It was a pretty non-competitive race so it was good for third overall. I felt like I had a good bit left in me at the end of the race but have never sustain at pace before scared to burn myself out too soon.

Thanks to everyone on this board for sharing knowledge and information. Hope to continue progressing towards newer goals.

@ G5 you're so close to that 19 min milestone. You got it next one! That first 5k is a shock to the system for sure.

@ 3 yeah that's the point those are supposedly my race prediction times. You have to think about the times spatially the difference in 6ish minutes is well over a mile etc. The point is that based on 10ish races or so, plus what it thinks my vmax is, it thinks my expected times for those races are those times.

Went 16:44 last night. Pretty happy with that for my firsts race in 2 years. Dropped an hour and a half long run this morning at about 7ish pace.

Gonna start gearing toward a 10k road race coming up here in a couple weeks.

Dunno really haven't done a 5K in 5 months. If I were to guess, mid 17s.

Welp, hot weather is here (and it’s not even that hot yet)

Dropped over 3 pounds during just an 8 mile run

May 11th. Hilly course and it gets hot here around then so we will see. Regardless, I'll get a baseline for the fall. Race season is pretty much done soon.

That's awesome man. So fast you're making other guys cheat. Crazy it took them over a month to determine final placing.

Apparently they always take that long. Go back and review splits and pictures and investigate any reports of cheating they get. Curious to see what the trophy looks like when it comes in.
