Finally an easy finish to this awful week. These last two mornings have really hit the spot. That wind this week...

Like I said it was 25mph with gusts up to 45mph so whatever you saw in the group, it was the equivalent of 20-30 seconds per mile faster. Sorry 3, I actually really whipped that llama's arse this week.

17 today with tomorrow off (bike). Almost a quarter into the year and at 555 of 2200.

Freaking perfect weather

Wife and kid wanted to meet another couple for a kid play date at the park, so I took the opportunity to hit some intervals on the 1/4 mile loop

Legs just have more spring when the weather is this good

I do feel a bit better today. Hoping it’s fully gone by Tuesday. Rather get sick now than race week

What do you guys focus on for core workouts? I don't have a gym membership, but have some free weights at the house.

For running specific core workouts, planks and bridges and all the variations of them.

I personally do many variations based around specific deep core work and yoga. But yeah, planks and side planks are a good start. I can hold a plank for around 5 minutes nowadays, although I only do 1-2:00 normally. I'm a strong believer in good core stability.

Never really used these. With Summer coming up, maybe I should grab some.

Got in a nice 9 mile run this evening @ 7:43/mile and last mile @ 7:13. It’s been 5 years since I’ve run this distance and felt great. Getting more and more motivated to try a half in the future.

He’s a pretty great dude actually . He did go to State during desegregation in Misssissippi, so there are some issues there but it’s not terrible. I’ve met much more hateful people.

I asked him who the best player he ever played against was and he said when we went to play LSU there was this guy that was all over the place with the ball doing behind the back passes that we had no idea what to do with. It was like playing against blacks that he hadn’t done before (MS desegregated his senior year I think, so don’t think to lowly of him.)He said Pistol Pete made his entire team look like their shoes were tied together.

I do 100 push ups a day. Seems to cover it for me but I'm not shredded or anything.
