Hell yeah. That was like my 2017 bio except I had 0 or less runs. Welcome!

Toughest thing about quitting is learning to do the things you enjoy without ciggies. Cutting the booze made it 1000x better.

4444 Welcome too!

If I remember right, you on the NS?

Going to be difficult to beat me in that catagory. I average 20 or so feet of elevation a week.

You'll have some competition with that!

Unless LV Tiger is on Strava I probably win the most.

don’t have many runs if less than 100 ft elevation even if I’m running roads.

Almost never. I can count on one hand how many times I drank this year and that includes a glass of wine at Thanksgiving.

Yep...mandeville. Ran from the house today down to the travce, over to the State Park then in/out of Pelican then followed the trace back to Destin before cutting back east and heading home. Racked up almost 75'.

I enjoy taking that offshoot and running through Pelican this time of year. Few people if any there. I also enjoy running through Big Branch, although the wildlife gets sketchy at times.

Have you ever seen that Gator that lives in those ponds in the s-curve? A couple of months ago he was standing right in the middle of the road...scared the shite out of me.

I saw a large gator this summer on that cleared path leading to the pirogue launch on Cane Bayou. Had a family of hogs run out on me last year. Pretty sure my heart rate exceeded 200.

My weekly Saturday trail has 3 main hills but there’s no way to do the whole loop and not get 300+ feet.

Solid effort on tired legs, HB. I had a bad run yesterday. Just had no life in legs and couldn’t push my pace at all. Not sure if holiday hangover or what. Bounced back with a treadmill workout today though and felt pretty good.

Any reason for the treadmill? Weather related or just changing it up? I need to get a mid-long run in tomorrow and hoping I don’t have to resort to that. Looking like thunderstorms all day here. As has been the case daily.

Fell off of my 30 mpw average this week due to missing my long run as a result of life/work/weather. Only ended up at 20. Ah well.

Our Strava club mileage/leaderboard is starting to heat up!

Gone are the weeks of me leading with 20ish miles. That’s a good thing though.

All the people all “man Strava is so encouraging.”Im glad I found this group “

And I’m all “Furk. BRM is kicking my arse at miles and pace this week. I should quit running because I suck.”
