Anyone else get these every so often? I’ll be dead asleep, stretch my leg, and my calf muscle balls up jolting me awake with a fierce cramp.

I have a slant board and stretch semi-regularly and always stay hydrated. Not sure if anyone else has eliminated this by other means?

It’s mostly just annoyance - couple minutes of sharp pain and then a sore calf the next day about once a month or so.

It sounds like you have restless leg syndrome baw, have you tried OxyContin?

Yep, a lot of potassium is the only thing I have found to slow it down.
Orange juice or body armour, 2 glasses a day.

Definitely not restless leg syndrome. I have tried oxy when I had my knee reconstructed, not my cup of tea.

Thanks. Will try upping potassium intake. I only get them about once a month, so hopefully I can get on top of it. The first one was a bitch, my wife thought I was going crazy.

Are you taking magnesium glycinate already? If not, start.

So, are you saying you didn’t take them all?

(Kidding). I get these cramps too. I blame it on dehydration but you say that’s not an issue for you.

I get them in my feet and my sides. It's as if crawling into bed triggers cramps. Not tonight dear, I have a foot cramp.

Accelerade will help. My dad would get them after working long days in the field. I used it doing triathlons and swear by it. You won’t need a lot. They also make a recovery drink you can try as well. Recoverite may be the name of it.

I have a cabinet full of various hydrocodone formulations and percocet. I almost always opt for THC instead and unfortunately get prescribed them once or twice a year.

Now that morphine clicker after coming out of surgery, that's another story.
