Here are my labs

Total test 1204
Shgb 10.1
Total biocalc 1028
Test call free 438
Test % free 3.6
Fsh .4
Lh 1.0
Estradiol 73.2

Any thoughts? I am only 3-4 weeks in. Seems like 200mg maybe too much with the hcg?

Estradiol is high but wouldn’t be too concerned with it unless you feel side affects of estrogen. If you’re having a tough time with chest and back breakout, that could be the culprit.

SHGB is a bit low. Did you get your blood drawn the same day as a big dose of Test?

Having trouble falling asleep or waking up and not going back to sleep?

Do you have the rest of your labs? Did they measure DHEA and IGF-1?

Everything is fine except estro…if not having symptoms, don’t worry about it for now.

Total and free a tad high but nothing to worry about. Th low shgb is a good thing

Only real symptom I am having that bothers me is redness under my eyes. I’m not a pale skin person I have a nice tan complexion so it looks like I have a sunburn. It seems to pop up 2nd day after the shot then goes away after 24-48 hours or so.

I wonder if swapping to a slightly lower dosage or daily subq would help with that.

No breakouts at all yet outside of the redness under my eyes on my upper cheeks.

Labs were on Tuesday and I think I did the shot either Saturday or Sunday

My sleep is improving my body is running hot even though I have it freezing in my bedroom but it’s doing better.

I didn’t do a whole panel this round I just added the main stuff on to my normal labs. I’ll probably do the marek test next run.

Then I wouldn’t worry too much about the high estrogen. Just be mindful of what high est symptoms are in case you ever come down with them.

IMO subq daily is the best option but some may disagree. Makes sense to me as levels would stay “level” for a greater amount of time instead of high highs and low lows. How offen are you injecting?

Edit: when my estrogen was high my symptoms were breaking out and bad sleep. We eliminated different things and that turned out to be the culprit. When my levels go under control the acne vanished

I just recently started TRT. Appreciate the info in this thread. I'm 37. Always worked out and stayed in shape but had a kid at 35 and haven't been able to get back in the routine. Started out eating cleaner about 5 weeks ago, started the gym about 4 weeks ago.

My labs were 385. I can't remember the rest of the numbers, I wish I would have written it down. He did say my "storage" level was kind of low for the time of day even though my top level number wasn't horrible. My Dr. said he is more concerned with symptoms and how you feel.

They told me to do 150 once a week. I'm self injecting and just did my third one Sunday. So far, no real noticeable difference. Maybe a little more energy/recovery at the gym but I just started back 4 weeks ago so it could be just that I've worked out the initial soreness. I have done the shot in the delts each time. I initially was thinking glute would be easier but after holding the needle I found delt was easier to reach for me. Thigh is probably the easiest but I haven't tried that yet.

I go back I think at week 5 or 6 for more blood work and adjust dosage if needed.

I really noticed a difference about 6 weeks in. Hit me like a ton of bricks when it did. All I did was follow my wife around the house all weekend trying to get some. Felt like I was 18 again.

That's not bad advice. I took arimidex 0.5mg every other day when mine jumped. It was better 10 days in. I normally don't recommend it, but I was symptomatic.

Just got some T results back and looking for some feedback. Overall T appears to be in a decent spot but my free T is very low.

I just started taking Boron and will test again in about 2 weeks. Should I consider T at these levels?

I am 41, good physical shape and clean diet.

• Total Testosterone: 5.59 ng/mL (Normal range for men aged 18-49: 2.49 - 8.36 ng/mL)

• Free Testosterone: 7.2 pg/mL (Normal range for men aged 21-49: 5.01 - 27.78 pg/mL)

I have my doctor's appointment today to go over my labs and TRT options. Are there any specific questions you think I should ask? I'm late 40s. Here are my lab results:

Testosterone - 194ng/dL (157 for the first test)
Free Testosterone - 4.2pg/ML (4.4 for the first test)
Prolactin - 11.2
Estradiol - 11.3
FSH - 39
LH - 22.2

I assume the best injectable to be on is Test Cyp, but is there a reason for a different one? Assume I know nothing, because I don't.

ETA - Just got finished and I was prescribed testosterone cypionate 200mg, and we are going with IM injections once every 2 weeks to start. We'll be checking levels and adjusting based on that and how I feel.

Total and Free Test are trash

Prolactin is perfect

E2 is honestly kinda low. You been feeling down/depressed lately?

FSH and LH are going to go to like 0.2 once you start T shots, don't be alarmed

no no no. This is trash protocol. Ideally inject twice per week, but at minimum once per week. You will feel like dogshit in the days leading up to your shot if you do every 2 weeks

Total is fine and your free is way low. Wouldn't fault you for wanting to get on though. 777 may have a few tricks to up your free T

I asked her about this and the benefits of doing twice weekly or weekly shots to avoid troughs, and she said we’ll take it as it comes. She said if I feel that I need it before the next dosage, then we can change things up. She said everyone is different and we’ll fine tune things. I’m with you, it seems that more frequent shots would be better overall.
