Life Fitness HX Rowing Machine - Looking for reviews

Wanting to buy a rowing machine to add to the garage gym for the wife and I.
I was really looking for a Concept 2 rower while my wife preferred a water rower. But with COVID-19, I can't find a Concept 2 online anywhere that will ship to me in Germany.
I have found a Life Fitness water rower that will ship to me pretty quickly.
Have any of you used the Life Fitness HX Trainer? How would you rate it compared to the Concept 2?
Trying to decide if I should pull the trigger or wait for the Concept 2 (July timeframe).

Last time I checked you can't get one anywhere. The best you can do is a waitlist with no indication how long.

I used one for about 6 weeks while working out of town, first time on a water rower. I did not like it at all.
I Have the Xbex and used the concept and would recommend either over this type.

Same, I really like the concept and xebex, I hate water rowers. Only good things about them is the look and noise. Actual functionality sucks compared to a concept.

I've never used a water rower, so can't comment on that. I do have a Concept 2 model D and can tell you that you can't go wrong with Concept 2. It will last forever, very easy maintenance, easy to use monitor with lots of apps, etc that it functions with.

Had a work trip in Midland late February and was surprised to see one of these in the Holiday Inn I was lodging for the week. I enjoyed the change of pace from the Concept, but was also surprised at the price when I looked up the model at the hotel. I agree with the consensus, can't go wrong with the Concept, even if comes with a little wait.

When I went to Planet Fitness for a month after my knee surgery for rehab I used a water rower. I think it may have even been a Life Fitness. I hated it compared to my Concept.
