Super Gut - William Davis
So William Davis, wheat belly author, just released Super Gut - book on resetting microbiome. Heard him on a podcast with Ivor Cummins - Fat Emperor podcast.
He claims the benefits of the L Reuteri yogurt are basically the fountain of youth. I’m always a little skeptical of these type of one fix cure all’s, but what the hell I’ll try it. I will say keto or at least LCHF diets really are a cure all for lots of metabolic dysfunction.
I’m curious, any of the people in this thread keep it up? Or was it just a fad that you did a few weeks. Knowing me, I’ll buy all the shite, make one batch and then never again

Just read the 1st and last pages. Yogurt still considered much more beneficial than the pills?
Also, is there a point of diminishing returns regarding how potent to make it?

Watching YouTube videos on this and came across the product Floracil50 by UMZU. Got that and 8 other strands of probiotics. On the expensive end ($48 on Amazon, haven’t checked umzu.com), but if it actually works, seems like a bargain.

The way I understand probiotics is that you are trying to colonize your microbiome with “good bacteria”. Ideally the introduced probiotics would colonize your gut. At some point, you would not need to introduce new bacteria. My question is at what point is the colonization successful and new bacteria no longer needed?

I've been taking it for about 5 months. I definitely notice a difference when I get lazy and don't take it over a weekend trip or something. Wouldn't say I've noticed any major changes, but overall do feel better.
