325 is the heaviest I’ve benched. Haven’t been there in a while.

I agree with you there. Nothing will get your traps yoked like some good ole cleans (or other variations of cleans)

I may use straps when going over certain poundages for reps, but I’ll never wear pussy gloves or use a god forsaken “pussy pad” that I see some baws 1/4 squatting with

Farmers walks, and to a lesser extent, front carries do better for me. Heavy farmers walks have given me the best trap growth I've ever had.

I don’t have access to the adequate apparatuses to correctly do farmers walks and actually overload my yoke (150 lb dumbbells won’t cut it)

I have been doing a lot of 1 arm barbell shrugs lately for shoulder/ yoke stability. In theory this is very similar to the effect of farmers walks on your traps

We are totally highjacking ole baws bench press thread oh well . I’m embracing the year of the yoke as defined by Lester

This can limit you because you can't grip as heavy without a FW implement or trap bar.

You might want to give loaded front carries a whirl. You can always just stack plates. I've gotten to the point heavy sandbag carries and Farmers are all I do for traps and my traps have never been better.

I do bench like a little weak kid, though, so I might just be a sissy.
